Embossing is a process that transfers textured patterns onto the surface of a substrate.
The patterned mold used in this process is called release paper.
By transferring these patterns onto materials such as synthetic leather, texture and design appeal can be enhanced.
The Yamagata plant is equipped with around 50 types of engraved embossing rolls. Through multiple processing techniques such as “double embossing” and “triple embossing,” designs that are difficult to achieve with conventional methods can be reproduced.
